Q. Did I hear correctly, the Foundation added additional recognition to their Outstanding Awards of Achievement, announced during International Convention?
Yes! The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation is excited to recognize more collegiate and alumnae chapters and clubs during Convention. See below for criteria of all Convention awards and the application for our newest award.
Collegiate chapters are recognized on a biennium calendar for their support to the Foundation. Recognition is awarded in the following categories:

- Most Improved Financial Support
- Best New Chapter Support

Alumnae chapters and alumnae clubs, now recognized separately for their support to the Foundation, may have an award and honor roll recipient(s) in the following categories:

Q. How do i get my name listed on the donor roster in the Summer Quarterly?
To be recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors each year, a donor must make a gift to the Foundation within the fiscal year which runs June 1-May 31. Donors are recognized in different giving societies based on annual giving levels. Individual, chapter and club Jewel recognition is published in the Foundation's Columns newsletter, and at Fraternity events such as Convention, TLC and VLC.
Q. What is the difference between a Scholarship and a Continuing Education Grant? How do I know which one I should apply for?
Scholarships are for members attending school and working toward a degree full-time. You may be working toward an undergraduate degree or a graduate degree to be eligible for scholarships through the Foundation.

Continuing Education (CE) Grants are for alumnae members who have been out of school for at least two years and are attending school or seminars on a part-time basis to further their career goals.
Q. Who is eligible to receive a SIS Grant?
SIS Grants are available for members of Alpha Gamma Delta that find themselves facing an emergency and in immediate, short-term financial need. While we value your membership in Alpha Gamma Delta this program is not intended to assist in the payment of Fraternity Dues. Apply for a SIS Grant.

Fundraising is the organized activity of raising funds/money (for an institution).
Community service is volunteering your time for the benefit of your community.
