Fifty years ago our Fraternity leadership created the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation with the purpose of impacting lives. We are so thankful for all of our leaders who have led the organization to the awarding of almost $10,000,000 back to our sisters and our communities.
This time each year the Foundation conducts its regular election procedures, seeking sisters interested in advancing the Foundation's mission by serving on the Board of Trustees.
Current terms expire for the following Trustees effective at the conclusion of the 2012 International Convention; all have willingly agreed to stand for re-election: Deborah Schmidt Eschenbacher, Peggy Kuebler Field, Debbie Douglass Roth.
We are excited to also announce that the Foundation is adding two new Trustee positions this year, bringing the total number of board members to nine! Trustees serve two-year terms, and may serve up to four consecutive terms. They are responsible for fundraising, policy development, financial oversight, and the granting of Foundation funds.
