Establish an Endowment

Challenge: Grow Our Endowment Program by 5

Establish an endowment to support your passion and our mission through a living or planned gift!

In honor of our 50th Anniversary we celebrate four 4 new endowments towards our goal of five 5:
  • Kim Thomadsen Kleber Scholarship (established by Kim Thomadsen Kleber through a planned gift.)
  • Carol Frost Smawley Scholarship for Delta Beta (established by Delta Beta Collegiate Chapter.)
  • Mu Centennial Scholarship (established by Mu Collegiate Chapter)
  • Delta Xi Endowed Scholarship (established by Valley of the Sun Alumnae Chapter)
What is an endowment fund? It's a restricted fund created by an individual, a chapter or club, or family. Endowments play a critical role in providing substantial, consistent and long-term funding for essential programs. Funds can be established for any program area of the Foundation's mission: undergraduate and graduate scholarships, continuing education, SIS grants, leadership grants to our ΑΓΔ Fraternity, operations and more.

The Foundation invests the gifts and distributes grants or scholarships from the fund according to its policies, and state and federal laws. The minimum funding level for an endowment is $50,000, and was established by working backwards - by looking at the level of program impact that will be needed now and in the future. An endowment may be funded through a living gift (given now or over a period of up to five years) or through an estate gift.

Making an Impact

  • Our chapter chooses to give because the Foundation has helped out women in our chapter for years with scholarships and SIS Grants. We believe in giving to an organization that gives so much.
