(INDIANAPOLIS) On Monday, February 11, Alpha Gamma Delta welcomed its newest sisters at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Led by the Fraternity's extension team and Leadership Consultants, Alpha Gamma Delta hosted several days of informal infosessions, interviews and an invitational event as a part of the recruitment process.

"Alpha Gamma Delta's commitment to our Purpose aligns perfectly with the values of the Villanova student," said Liz Harriss York, International Vice President-Extension. "I can't wait to watch this chapter grow and contribute to the Villanova community."

Focusing on the Fraternity's brand message, Live with Purpose, Alpha Gamma Delta used a values-based selection criterion that aligned with the Alpha Gamma Delta Purpose to ensure that the values of all new members paralleled the values and mission of the Fraternity. Campus public relation efforts directed students to a custom website for the Villanova colony—goalphagam.com. A Facebook Fan Page, Twitter page and Instagram were also used to promote the organization. Members of the Panhellenic community also wore Alpha Gam buttons to demonstrate their support.

We are so excited to welcome Alpha Gamma Delta to Villanova University, said Phil O'Neill, Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life. "Their call to Live With Purpose is in complete congruence with the values and traditions of our community and we look forward to furthering what is already a strong working relationship with their national organization. Together, I am confident that we can positively impact the lives of Villanova women for generations to come."
