Alumnae Recaps

Alpha Eta Alumnae Chapter
The Alpha Eta Alumnae Chapter had a busy and successful fall and winter. With the installation of a new executive, we were keen to start planning new goals. We saw a record turn out of alumnae to Feast of Roses and our annual holiday party. Those who attended the alumnae tea hosted by our collegiate chapter had fun getting to know the next generation of Alpha Gams. Our first ever wine tasting was well received. We are looking forward to IRD, our spring dessert party and Rededication.

Collegiate Chapter Reports
Fulfilling the line "to covet beauty in environment, manner, word and thought."

Theta Delta-University of North Georgia
Optimism, being able to see beauty in anything, begins with vigilantly conditioning the mind. This can be difficult in any group. There will always be those who thrive on negativity, but it is important to build your individual character and model positivity to the group. Interaction between sisters, even criticizing, must be done with gentleness and epsilon pi; it is what separates friends from sisters. Sisters have a duty to one another to the address most difficult situations, but, to be effective, the address cannot condemn; it has to lead the sister with positivity. Each sister must also display beauty through her manner; she should exhibit the multifaceted beauty of herself and all she stands for with every encounter. It may be hardest to see the beauty in the world, but it is most important. A positive global outlook fuels our passion to contribute to the good in the world.

Delta Iota-University of California, Chico
Delta Iota Chapter uses the Alpha Gamma Delta Purpose to help us plan activities and events on our campus and in our community. In September, several of our sisters participated in a Saturday morning cleanup of Bidwell Park to help preserve our beautiful environment for the entire community to enjoy. We also focused on representing Alpha Gamma Delta in the best way possible by always being the best versions of ourselves. Our chapter felt that it was important to show the Chico State campus and our community that the women of Alpha Gamma Delta are beautiful on the inside and out.
