More than 100 years after our founding, we continue to pursue excellence as a premier women’s organization. We believe in helping our members become the best that they can be in all facets of life—from scholarship to sisterhood, Alpha Gam sisters never stop working to become better.

Scholarship
Our sisters excel academically and develop an appreciation for lifelong learning. Alpha Gamma Delta provides the environment and tools necessary for this academic success.
The all-Fraternity grade point average surpassed 3.08 in the last academic year. Each chapter and member is required to meet minimum academic standards and is likewise rewarded for achieving these standards. Sisters are also eligible for more than 90 scholarships from the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.

Leadership
We provide our members with leadership opportunities that benefit them far beyond graduation. Alpha Gams go on to head corporations, hold political office and become community leaders. Click here to view accomplished Alpha Gamma Deltas!

Members are encouraged to pursue leadership opportunities both within Alpha Gamma Delta and the campus and community. Involvement is rewarded through the Fraternity’s Activity Recognition System. In addition, scholarships to the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and LeaderShape as well as regular chapter programming help our future leaders hone their skills.

Philanthropy
Our sisters believe in the importance of contributing to their community and to the world.
Alpha Gamma Delta was the first National Panhellenic Conference organization to designate an international philanthropy in 1920. That dedication to helping others continues today as our sisters regularly participate in philanthropic activities to benefit various groups and individuals, including the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.

Personal Development

The Fraternity’s goal is to impart life skills education to each sister, helping her to continually improve and enrich her life in college and far beyond. Workshops and programs are made available on a wide variety of topics, allowing each chapter to decide which would most positively benefit its members.

Sisterhood
Perhaps most importantly, our members form lasting friendships and experience sisterhood that truly endures the test of time.
Whether 18 years old or 80 years old, each Alpha Gam sister is united in a common bond that helps to forge meaningful and life-changing friendships. Friendships with sisters provide us with the encouragement, love and support essential for a happy life.
