Q. What's a re-colonized chapter?
A. A re-colonized chapter is the term for a chapter that was closed but is now being re-opened via a membership rebuilding process.
Q: When will recruitment begin for Alpha Gamma Delta?
A: Alpha Gamma Delta will participate in Open House round on August 20 and 21. We will not participate in any rounds of Formal Recruitment past these events. Alpha Gamma Delta's recruitment will be September 2-5, 2008. Specific details will be available in the near future--check back again soon!
Q. I participated in Formal Recruitment, but was not placed in a chapter or decided to drop out of the Formal Recruitment process. Can I attend Alpha Gamma Delta recruitment events?
A. Any woman who participated in Formal Recruitment but was not placed in a chapter or chose to drop out of the Formal Recruitment process is welcome to participate in our recruitment process.
Q. I didn’t participate in Formal Recruitment. Can I still participate in Alpha Gamma Delta’s recruitment?
A. Absolutely! While we will participate in the Open House round, it is not a requirement to have attended this event in order to take part in the recruitment process for our re-colonization.
Q. What grade levels can participate in the colony recruitment?
A. Any woman, regardless of grade level, may take part in Alpha Gamma Delta recruitment. We need sisters of all ages - freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors all bring unique experiences and perspectives to the table that will benefit the colony in different ways.
Q. Will Alpha Gamma Delta have a chapter house?
A. Yes, Alpha Gamma Delta still has a chapter house at 1540 Chestnut Street that will be available for members to occupy beginning in January.
