We are so excited you are interested in learning more about our premier women’s organization! Alpha Gamma Delta provides its sisters with an unparalleled collegiate experience that lasts a lifetime. Quite the contrary to pop culture, Greek organizations like Alpha Gamma Delta are values-based organizations. Emphasizing important life skills, like leadership, scholarship, personal development and philanthropy, Alpha Gamma Deltas are prepared for life after college. Guided by our Purpose, Alpha Gamma Delta strives for all members to be a complete woman.

	Sisterhood and Lifelong Friendships Sisterhood is at the core of Alpha Gamma Delta’s existence. At Alpha Gamma Delta, each member has a group of loyal, friendly sisters to help her balance the many complexities of college life. Alpha Gamma Delta sisterhood extends beyond local college campuses. Our Fraternity’s International Conventions show the broad reach of our sisterhood and the sustainment of our traditions. Every two years, hundreds of our sisters gather together at Convention to rekindle existing friendships and create new ones. Learn more about our latest Convention in San Antonio, Texas.
	Education and Leadership Alpha Gamma Delta recognizes the growth our sisters experience as a collegian. To guide our members through each phase of their collegiate lives, we developed a comprehensive educational program—the Alpha Gamma Delta Experience. Sisterhood bonding opportunities, interactive programming and personal development exercises are all components of the Alpha Gamma Delta Experience. Our members participate in a variety of campus organizations and hold leadership positions within many of those organizations. Alpha Gamma Delta collegians also benefit from attending Fraternity conferences and other seminars to help them become more effective leaders.
	Scholarship and Networking Scholarship is one of the founding principles of Alpha Gamma Delta and is a key factor for membership. Successful alumnae serve as mentors to assist our collegians throughout their scholarly endeavors. In addition to being required to maintain a certain GPA to be in Good Standing, the international Fraternity recognizes each sister who receives a 3.14 GPA or higher each term with a Strive for Pi certificate. By upholding these rigorous academic standards, Alpha Gamma Deltas are prepared for the work force. Our leadership opportunities, educational programming and focus on academics give our sisters the confidence to network with the thousands of Alpha Gamma Delta alumnae that span the continent.
	Philanthropy and Personal Development In 2008, our Fraternity announced its new philanthropy initiative, Defeat Diabetes One Step at a Time, a national diabetes awareness program. Through membership in Alpha Gamma Delta, our sisters have a multitude of opportunities to volunteer on campus and in the local community. Across the continent, Alpha Gam collegians are participating in juvenile diabetes walks, volunteering at soup kitchens and hosting campus fund raisers to help local diabetes organizations.
	Our Partners Alpha Gamma Delta is made stronger on an international level through the cooperation of three separate entities: The Fraternity, The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation and The Leadership Institute—Women with Purpose, Inc. Though each is unique in function and scope, all work together for a common goal—to improve the lives of our sisters and the communities around them.
