Fall 2008 Quarterly Follow-Up: Our World, Our Voice
A special thank you goes out to each member who contacted the Quarterly staff regarding their involvement in the political movement. Due to space constraints, each Alpha Gam's story could not be included in the article; however, the Quarterly staff is happy to feature these Alpha Gams on the Fraternity website. Also, see below for pictures of our featured Alpha Gams with political figures.
More political stories are coming soon!
Katie Snyder Lewis
Former Leadership Consultant Katie Snyder Lewis, Alpha Iota–Baldwin-Wallace College, is a young woman trailblazing in the political world. As Executive Director of the Stark County Republican Party in Ohio, Katie assists local candidates running for county offices with their campaigns. As one of the major counties in a vital swing state, a candidate generally does not win the presidency without winning Stark County. "I enjoy helping normal citizens just like you and I accomplish their dream of making a difference in their community," Katie says. "Everyone has their own opinion on how the local, state and national government should be run, yet a small amount of citizens actually take the extra step in trying to make a difference. If I can help them achieve that dream, then that gives my fellow coworkers and me a high level of satisfaction and pride."
