Facebook

Facebook is the world's largest social networking site, allowing you to connect with friends, reunite with sisters and share photos and videos.

How do I sign up?

1. Go to www.facebook.com.
2. Fill in the information fields provided on the log in screen.
3. Fill out your profile, including the information you wish to share with other Facebook
members.
4. In the top right corner is a search field. Type in Alpha Gamma Delta International Fraternity to find our Fan Page.
5. Underneath the double roses, click Become a Fan! Now you will receive all of our updates on your home page, also known as the News Feed.
6. Use the search field to find other sisters and friends on Facebook. With over 130 million active users, you never know who you may connect with!

 


Twitter

Twitter is a service that allows people to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. These simple updates, called tweets, keep you up-to-date on all your Alpha Gamma Delta news, as its happening! You can even receive your tweets on your cell phone!

How do I sign up?

1. Go to www.twitter.com.
2. Click the green “Sign Up Now” button right on the right.
3. Choose a username and password for your account and click “Create My Account.”
4. To follow Alpha Gamma Delta, click on the “Find People” link in the top right.
5. Type in Alpha Gamma Delta. Our username is “alphagammadelta” with the double roses as our logo.
6. Click “Follow” and you’re done! Search for people you may know by using the same “Find People” link.



Maintain Your Privacy

While social media is a great tool to stay in touch with sisters and Alpha Gam happenings, it is smart to be wary of what you publicly share. When friends, family, employers and even those you don’t know can view your information, you should use the best discretion to share only what you would feel comfortable telling the entire world. To ensure your privacy, both Facebook and Twitter have several options to customize what information is viewable to the general public.   • You can hide your Twitter account so only those you approve of are allowed to follow your tweets. To do this, simply:
    • Log in to Twitter.com
    • Click "Settings" in the top right.
    • Under "Account" right before the "Save" button, check "Protect my tweets."
