Question: What interested you in the Leadership Advisor program?
Andrea's Answer: I was always involved in my chapter while an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta. I loved the feeling I got from being a leader in such a great organization. I decided to research ways to stay involved with Alpha Gamma Delta after graduation and learned of the Leadership Advisor program. Since graduate school looked promising for my future, I thought this would be a great way to serve the organization I love and further my education all at the same time.
Question: What do you hope to accomplish as a Leadership Advisor?
Andrea's Answer: Since I have been with Theta Beta for a year, I have already accomplished much. The one thing I would still
like to see the chapter excel in is advisor and alumnae support. I hope to make contacts with area alumnae members to obtain potential advisor candidates and talk with them about supporting Theta Beta in the years to come. I also hope to continue to make lasting bonds of friendship with the women I meet and I hope they can confide in me to guide them in the right direction whether it is with Alpha Gamma Delta issues or in life in general.
Question: What is your biggest accomplishment thus far?
Answer: Throughout my life, I have accomplished many things. My biggest at this point though would be attending graduate school at Auburn University and moving five hours away from my family. Even though it’s not great being that far away, I have achieved independence and can make it on my own which makes me proud of myself and the person I have become.
