Learn More about Rula:
Question: What interested you in the Leadership Consultant program?
Rula's Answer: During my senior year, I read some advice about job searching after college: don't expect your dream job right after you graduate. When I read about the Leadership Consultant position, the possibility of a dream job after graduation seemed possible again! My ideal job has never been a specific position, but rather a job that allows for professional and personal growth, the opportunity to be creative, and the chance to work with people on a personal level - I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
Question: What do you hope to accomplish as a Leadership Consultant?
Rula's Answer: After spending four years as an active Alpha Gam, I've realized that this is a special sisterhood and a place where lifelong friendships begin. When we have the support and inspiration of loyal sisters, we are inspired to be leaders and affect positive changes. I hope I can impact the areas of our Fraternity that directly affect our future, specifically recruitment, membership and sisterhood! I also know that this is position encourages personal growth by fostering independence, quick-thinking, patience, and flexibility. I believe these attributes are essential to any woman who wants to make big changes in
the world, and I'm honored to continue working toward them through Alpha Gam.
Question: What is your biggest accomplishment thus far?
Rula's Answer: I've had the most supportive parents who have given me every opportunity to discover who I am and what makes me happy! After four years at an out-of-state university and several experiences with independent travel, I'm still learning a lot about myself. My growing sense of independence is something I'm very proud of and I hope I can continue to cultivate it by encouraging self confidence in my sisters at Epsilon Beta and the sisters I have yet to meet.
